Oneshot (LEGACY)
OneShot is a surreal, story-driven puzzle adventure that blurs the line between player and protagonist. You guide a small, cat-eared child named Niko through a dying world swallowed by darkness. Their mission is simple yet impossible: carry the last remaining light—the Sun—and restore it to the tower at the center of the world.
But this is no ordinary journey.
The game speaks directly to you. Characters know you exist. The world reacts to your presence. Files on your computer may hold secrets. Every puzzle feels personal, every choice meaningful. You are not just controlling Niko—you are guiding them, protecting them, and forming a quiet bond that becomes the emotional heart of the story.
The world itself is melancholic and strange: rusted cities powered by fading machinery, lonely outposts clinging to hope, and dreamlike landscapes painted in soft pixel art. Its soundtrack hums with gentle synth melodies that amplify the sense of wonder and quiet sorrow.
Unlike typical adventure games, OneShot emphasizes consequence. You may only truly experience certain paths once. The game remembers. And sometimes, it asks you to make decisions that linger long after you close it.
At its core, OneShot is about connection—between player and character, light and darkness, hope and sacrifice. It’s a short experience, but one that leaves a surprisingly lasting glow.
