Fireboy and Watergirl

Fireboy and Watergirl is a cooperative puzzle-platformer that challenges players to think, coordinate, and react as two elemental heroes working together to escape mysterious temples.

In each level, players control Fireboy and Watergirl simultaneously (or team up with a friend), guiding them through intricate environments filled with switches, elevators, levers, lasers, and hazardous pools. Fireboy can safely walk through fire but must avoid water, while Watergirl can pass through water but is vulnerable to flames. Both must steer clear of toxic green substances that threaten them equally.

The game’s clever level design encourages teamwork and timing. Players must activate mechanisms for each other, hold doors open, and plan movements carefully to collect scattered gems and reach the exit doors at the same time.
